JABBERWOCKEY,
{Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman}.

A project of Clive Nolan & Oliver Wakeman, sun of Rick and also a brilliant keyboard-player, with

daddy Wakeman- narration,
jabber Peter Banks (also ex-Yes),
Jon Jeary (Threshold),
Ian Salmon (Shadowland, Threshold)- guitar,
Tony Fernandes (Rick Wakemans-band)- drums,
Peter Gee (Pendragon)- bass,
jabber Bob Catley (Magnum) plays the Hero,
Tracy Hitchings (Landmarq),
Bob Catley,
Paul Allison &
James Plumridge (the ex roadmanager of Arena)- vocals.

It's an concept album / opera, based on the novel Through the looking Glass of Carol Lewis (1832- 1898)(See Landmarq). Rodney Matthews takes care of the lay-out; tasty! ('99).

The work to the follow-up to the Jabberwocky-album is proceeding very well. Clive Nolan and Oliver Wakeman have recorded all of the vocal parts and the majority of the instrumentation to the new album, called Hounds of the Baskervilles. There still some bass-work to be recorded by:

Peter Gee (Pendragon) and
John Jowitt (IQ/Jadis) as well as some guitar-parts by
Peter Banks (ex-Yes) and
Karl Groom (Threshold),
Arjen "Ayreon" Lucassen is reported to feature on guitar on two tracks.
Narration is by Robert Powell (as Dr.Watson), while vocalists include Landmarq’s
Tracy Hitchings (as Beryl Stapleton),
ex-Magnum’s Bob Catley (as Sir Henry Baskerville), as well as appearances by
Ashley Holt,
Paul Allison,
Ian Gould and
Michelle Young.

Clive and Oliver hope to have the master tape in their hands by the end of September, but the actual release is still planned for the beginning of February 2002. And so it turned out:
This album continues to be full of accessible progressive rock influenced by Arena and moderated by the musical/rock opera feel that is evident throughout. People who like Arena are definitely advised to go outy and buy it, or at least listen to it.
Others will like Alan Parsons Tales of Mistery & Imagination of E.A.Poe more.
